G'Day ,

As the title suggests, I am currently looking for a diff and have found this diff. The seller claims that the diff has 3.7:1 ratio. The yellow lable with the ratio has conveniently 'come off'. I took a look at the diff and subframe and found the following numbers..

DIFF

SUBFRAME

Can anyone tell me what model/ratio this diff is off and the best way to tell the ratio?

Cheers,

AJ

the easiest way to check, is turn the pinion 3.7 times, and the cv should turn once.

Thanks David and Trevs for the quick reply!...what ratio is your diff Trevs? Also, the number on the subframe ends with a BA (did Ford use the same p/n for the BFs?)

you might be able to do it by the numbers, but im not sure, but if it is 3.7, it will be out of a 6speed man,xr6t, xr8, GT, and will be limited slip, will not fit in a normal xt cradle, ive been told but have not seen for myself.

Aah ok. This diff comes complete with the IRS cradle, springs and axles. Just wanted to check what ratio it was before I put down the $$. Thanks heaps!

Cheers,

AJ
