waiting for that phone call to say hey, come pick it up.. they phoned an hour ago and said they were having trouble with the variable cam gears, so im hoping its all sorted and I get it back. otherwise I'll be one unhappy camper

I am sharing your enthusiasm, hope it all goes well. :crybaby:

20 mins spiro........ I started mine... looked for oil leaks and backed it onto the dyno, it made over 500kw before it came off ha ha,

As stated Kent, you are out of control :beerchug:

running in oil and loading the rings up from start up will get you a better engine with less blow by.

If I had an engine built by a shop I would want them to thrash it quite alot before they gave it to me to make sure its built and tuned right.

Agreed.... Now that's the spirit fella's :beerchug:

Can we put this in the 600+ forum with the others or turn that forum into the "Ridiculous power" forum? Just so there all together and easy to find.

Maybe chuck XFT's two weapons in there too. Just an idea.

well I picked up the car this arvo, and boy does it feel good behind the wheel again. shes at 8psi for run in and can get to 5800rpm, the work done to it, is amazing and the note to the exhaust is totally different to any xr6t iv herd.

but just as I thought my bad luck was up, I visited a friend and showed him the car, as I was about to leave. the car wouldnt kick over. the lghts are fully illuminated, fuel pumps prime, just when I push the start button, I hear nuthing except the relay switch in the engine bay. so im pretty positive it is the starter motor. thank goodness I have a spareone at home and I will swap it over tomorrow. soo close. wonder what else can go wrong :(
