True, algorithms are good, I can see the science - but we just have to make sure that there are no variables in this algorithm, and on the road I believe there are too many in this situation...

But enough of this hijacking :beerchug:

hey pat that is the idea of algorithms - they take the variables and put them with constants so we can make sense of the situation

Sorry mate, I'm a friggin douche when it comes to maths, but with the amount of variables in regards to air temp, fuel quality, boost stability, fuel supply etc etc - I'd prefer to see exactly what the mixtures are doing.

Call me cautious... :beerchug:

from what I understand the factory ecu can only read up to 28psi, but you can get around it by dumping in more fuel to meet the extra psi that the ecu cant read..?? is trav sticking to standard ecu for 40psi? because id imagine things would be a little sketchy at that point am I wrong?

Quinn is pretty much on the money here and what I was talking about.

As Spiro said you can get around it with well thought out calculations on how the ECU controls the injectors and you basically tell the ECU how much fuel the motor gets, rather than it telling you how much it needs - cos it has no idea.

If your tuner is really good, which I believe Hi Torque are, you should be right. If you have your doubts, get a 4bar sensor
