The crew at Hi-Torque seem to know their stuff.haha cheers. well im planning for the rebuild. cuz im sure its gonna need it asap. and im still contemplating on what box to do. The upgrade options are C series or Powerglide but they aren't really a daily driver trans without an overdrive. As mentioned in my build thread, a 4 speed GM 4l65e has been built for my car and we are in the process of a conversion kit. We are having a full bellhousing made by Dellow, not just an adaptor plate, so it should be a very neat package. It will bridge the gap between the factory available 4 and 6 speed trans (which seem to max out at around the 400rwkw mark) and the next option of a C series or glide. A 4 speed overdrive drag box that can handle 500rwkw at the track is what we are aiming for.If you aren't familiar with the 4l65e, they already have 5 pinion planetaries which means they are able to handle more power and torque. They were used in some light truck applications from factory due to their increased torque handling capabilities. I have got new ones now and just finding a time to get a dyno figure and add it up. when I get a chance I will also put up pics.

I almost wish I had the courage to bolt my turbo to my engine when it was unopened. Ohh well guess I'll just have to have to ramped hard to make up for me being soft before. lol
