I had the pleasure of driving this beast yesterday. When Matty offered it to me, I couldnt say "yes" quick enough. Knowing that this F6 and my F6 have some goodies the same, I thought the two would be very similar. We've also had a couple of runs against each other which were pertty even so I thought I'd know what to expect..... how wrong I was!!!

This car is unbelievable. The built ZF done by MTE is bloody awesome, so smooth yet firm each shift was. The way the turbo builds boost assisted by the higher diff gears if phenominal. First gear is pretty much non existent, 2nd is more comparable to most 1st gears and 3rd is the new second.

I usually dont drive customers / mates cars hard but I couldnt help myself. The power skid it did in 3rd gear was off the hook. Car stayed pretty much dead straight as it smoked the Kumho KU19's (get some better tyres would ya mate!) and just wanted to keep baking them.

Im trying to see if he wants to upgrade to a FG Ute now :buttrock:

Thanks for letting me have a peddle Matty, I loved it. A very well built car. How you still have 12 points is beyond my comprehension.

In my opinion, you've won the race to 500 with ease. :stirthepot:

Brandonn and I have some catching up to do.

So whats the latest with this guys??

Was there a final power figure or has Matty run it at the strip yet?

Iv been looking at BF Phoons... Came across a Bionic one and Matts phoon is all I could think about. Will come with Argents, a built box and might be able to get a built motor into it.

If I end up with it, add the go fast bits that I will strip from my ute and minus the big turbo kit, cams and a few driveline goodies that Matty is running and I can see me modelling my phoon around this exact car!!

Keen to see how its all going....

alright. halfway through tuning the beast. for personal and convient reasons im back to my original tuner clinton. we put the car on the dyno down at cmr (a very low reading dyno)did a base run with my original tune.. made 412rwkw on 20psi.

so we began to tune.. after mucking around gettin the cams right and the fuel right weve finished for today at 433rwkw on 20psi. still pump fuel. we will continue the pump fuel tune next monday. our aim is around 26-28 psi on pump and 35 on racefuel.

so far the car feels totaly differnt and I must say more streetable and quicker. my hats off to you clint.. cannot wait to finish :)

Sounds very promising, 430+ at a measley 20 pounds is a good start!

Turbo is probably only just starting to creep into its efficiency range...

Smash some boost in dude!

Motor and turbo are gonna love it...!

Pretty hard to get a good number on that dyno... You have to be one of the first I've heard of cracking 400+ on it....

Karl and I worked out that there is on average 10% difference in comparison to other dyno's we have been on..

Good to hear the tune went well, nothing like a Clinton tune.. :buttonit:
