I hope I am not the only one that has this issue...

...but the mats do not stay where they are supposed too. They are "held" in using a needle type attachment that is basically crap. The other day I gave the car a squirt and the Mat actually pinned the accel flat to the floor..I crapped myself and only managed to pull the car up once I realised what was causing the problem.

I havent contacted Ford yet, but was interested to see if anyone else has had similar problems.

I now have the mat in the boot as the last 3 attempts to secure it in place has been a waste of time as the bloody thing always comes loose.

$300 well spent!

Cheers

My FG mats stay put pretty good and I dont have them pinned down. I read someone else had a problem with slipping mats and I think they ended up having BA/BF mats and not new ones.

my floormat does this in my BA.. after a few starts and stops I have to grab it and pull it back towards the seat.. sometimes it causes my to stall and crunh gears because it gets lodged behind the clutch pedal.. I havnt tried it yet but have you tried velcro?

Are you talking about the xr mats with the holes (2) in them which lock in with the floor mounted lugs ? that's the ones I have anyway and im in and out all day with my size 11 regulation BHP safety boots and the mats havn't moved yet. And im no ballerina with my feet.

Ah, just had a look on the FPV website, looks like a different locking arrangement to xr mats.
