Does lowering your XR6T actually provide any noticeable improvement in performance/stability/handling ? I always thought it was purely cosmetic.

Oh well I guess this is the motivation I need to rip out the 4 inch lifted springs from my truck replace em with 2.5s and just cut the crap out of the guards to make it all fit :)

it's only for cars done after the 1st isn't it they can't expect people to change things they have already done .

yours is a purpose built off roader not like the shopping trolley's I see around here 12 inches of body roll every time they go round a corner

and NB4C it seems to be around the 350 hub to wheel arch that is the best for these and that is only lowering 20ml so yeh I don't think a T dropped 50mm is going to handle better ,all for looks but that's what some people like and it's their car

a slight lowering say to 350mm hub/guard will assist a bit by lowering centre of gravity.....however coupled with heavier spring rates then you are getting somewhere.

Great info, guys. Considering that some Aussie roads will ground scrape most stock cars, lowering isn't for me.

be ineresting to know where they mesure this from , because if it is just from under car height , if you had a set of 20;s on the car you could probably still drop it 3 inches and only be 2 1/2 lower than stock
