Thanks all - I will report back and let you know what the geniuses at Fraud decide the problem is.Ambient temp is fine but yeah... fuel gauge still no good. Can't wait till all these nigglies are sorted out so that I don't have to have the inconvenience of going there (my mechanic is so much easier to get to and near work for pick ups and drop offs) and then... well, I can not worry about my warranty when tinkering with it My car does the same thing, Never worried about it, Just figured it was normal, Good to know what it is though

I could feel this a lot more than the other times I described in the OP...Still a benign issue...?!

It's about 10 litres out."How much fuel do you reckon is in it?" We don't find a problem with it at the moment.Really?! It has 10 litres in it by my calcs (which I check every time I fill it), the needle is pointing at dead set Empty and thus the DTE says nil (actually it said nil yesterday). And you think the thing is accurate?!Seriously how useless are these blokes; again from what I've heard/read this is about as common a fault as there is in an FG. And they still can't fix it?! Mine reads 50km's to empty and I will put 14odd liters into it, so that's over 50km's out. Pretty sure they're all like that though, does seem a bit excessive, I could be wrong... It'd be insufferable.
