Later down the track (couple months) goin a intercooler kit and nizpro valve springs.Wondering what the thoughts are on tuning methods. Whether a custom VCM tune is the go or get the flashtuner with a coupe of setting is better. (Price, performance, reliability, etc)Thanks Dudes and Dudets Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/59555-vcm-vs-capa-flashtune/ Share on other sites

It may not be 100% correct...VCM is still in beta and not all of the tuning parameters are there for certain models.VCM isn't an option for me because I'd need to drive 2+ hours just to change the tune. At least with the SCT device you can change tunes right there and then if you notice pinging for example.End power results between the 2 will be NO different. What they do is essentially the same thing. The only differences are the interface the tuner uses, how each package is connected to the car and the method the vehicles owner has to change tunes. The first couldnt stop raving about VCM saying it god's gift to this earth and all that. Even spent time showing me a whole bunch of different tables from my old custom tune(which looked like sh*t BTW). VCM didnt seem from what I saw to be in beta. Second tuner then went on to rubbish VCM saying it doesnt have all the tables and paramters that SCT have. So im like hmmmm who is BS's here?
