Did some trauling but could not fidn anything.I have been told when driving an auto (especially when parking on a hill) you should put the handbrake on changing the auto from Drive to Park. Aparently on hills this means the hand brake is holding the car ratehr than putting excess pressure on the gear box is this correct procedure or total bs? He said when going to reverse for instance, you have to wait a few seconds for the transmission to engage before trying to move off.
