An electrical whine coming through the stereo. I've read about this before but not sure what the fix is.2. A voltage drop (?)) on throttle application. I only noticed this the first time I drove the car after dark. Every time throttle is applied in any significant amounts the headlights will "blink" just as the car/turbo is starting to ramp up. The lights do not go off fully, but there is a definite dip. I figure that this cannot be good considering the software calculates all sorts of things (including injector trimming) on voltage. So gurus of the electrical kind, please lend a hand with some ideas to fix these issues as they are driving me up the wall. Posted 13/07/09 12:08 AM Share Posted 13/07/09 12:08 AM have you got an aftermarket stereo setup?Did you install it yourself or get a shop to do it?Im no expert but I would check the connections again on both the front and back of the car and give them a good clean. I presume they are brand new.I would also check the earth connection to the body of the car. Make sure you have a good clean connection there going directly to metal and not paint.Have you got a meter? check the voltage at the front of the car and then again the rear while the car is running to see how much voltage drop there is Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/59534-help-needed/#findComment-905683 Share on other sites
