since last night, my brakes have been shuddering only when reversing.

could this be a contamination issue? (I gave them a GOOD clean today) - still the issue remains

or somethings bent? or a handbrake issue?

it doesnt shudder when in a forwards gear

brakes = 6pot fronts, 4 pots rear

Pads and rotors gone? Mine did this funny lil flutter just as you applied the brakes in reverse and then at times with light application going forward.. I knew they were buggered though.

I replaced the fronts with DBA 5000 rotors and Race Brakes RB24 pads..

After doing the heat - cool thing a couple times I fairly jumped on them hard from 100 pkh, my son and I felt like our brains near come out our noses.

I realise your in an FG, prolly not many K`s to have worn the brakes out, but my BF did barely 45,000 and they were gorn..

I think I might have a reason why its doing it.

pads and rotors are less than 10,000km old

but at the drifts, we tried to adjust my handbrake, the RHS rotor one, so im thinking we may have dislodged that a bit.

cos the shudder feels like a handbrake jerk-up feeling.

had a decent drive then, feels like a front brakes issue.

and its audible from 15m away from the car when it happens..

might get WA Suspensions just to check it out, to make sure nothing is bent

kice, it was a missing top caliper bolt.

the drivers side, top caliper mounting to upright bolt, had come out on the track :blink:

so when I was going backwards, the caliper fell back against the rim, making the shudder
