Cheers schmick, that's a nice thing to say. And I bet if something does go pop on my car you'll be there to say "I told you so"??

I would never say anything like that.

Not your fault, its the manufacturers fault.

Fact is the part is flawed, they know it as well and at this point in time don't seem too proactive in fixing the problem unless you go BANG. . .

Just got an update.

Driveline parts wont arrive at the Ford Dealer until 14th August. . .

So with a big F U to Ford, Im having my car towed to a shop to have it reco-ed and modified. This shop does the shafts for Redcliffe Dyno so they should be ok. Already done many FG's too.

Probably looking around $1k but it's going to be tougher than any POS Ford will fit to the car and also I wont have to wait 5 weeks while my car is scrached and bumped inside an already over crowded workshop.

For what its worth I have found a guy who can replace both the Cvs and the centre bearings for a good price, I have now broken both.

It is a sad thing that Ford have skimped out with sh*tty components in the FG. The rest of the car is great but the driveline is just not up to the task.

Have a read on the fordforums site. There is a similar post to yours. The chap had to wait 6 weeks for the parts to come in......
