Ahhhhh! The wait is killing me!

The guys that are getting the rims for me have had dramas with the transport company and they only received one rear (so they say) so the rims didnt arrive till this arvo.

I was originally supposed to be picking the car up today but not to be.

it will be heading to Fulcrum tomorrow to get the suspension fitted and the hopefully I'll be good to go Thursday!

oh yeh the Marcello rims were going to take like 8 weeks to get and when I found out they only come with a 6 month warranty I ditched teh idea of getting them in favor of some Vertini fashion's in the same sizes as mentioned in teh first post.

I wouldn't be putting full teins on the car as the whole concept of this model is geared more towards comfort not track car.

Cheers for the info champ but the TEINS are all go and I had them fitted before I picked the car up.

To be totally honest they are bloody fantastic and as a package with teh whiteline sway bars etc the car handles briliantly and with the TEINS set on half way (number 8 out of 16) teh ride is very noce, firm but supple and compliant, not harsh and crashy like some moght suspect.

The ride is FAR better that the full pedders kit I had on my old VY Wagon and I dont think it compromises the ride comfort of the G6ET at all, especially as I found the std suspension set up far too soft for my tastes.

If I every find it too hard I still have 8 settings I can back it off softer or if not I have 8 harder I can go it stiffen it even more.

I have had a full turbo back custom exhaust fitted by Exhaust Innovations in Capalaba and let me tell you Brian has done a fantastic job with the system meeting my requirements of being both very quiet at cruising speed with no drone yet still delivering a deep powerful sounding note under load.

It has a 3.5 inch dump with seperate wastegate pipe, 5 inch 100cpi ballistic cat and 3.5 inch system with two large 3.5 inch stainless packed straight through mufflers. The whole system is stainless mandrel bent.

I have also fitted a Blue power racing shielded pod air box kit which I was also very impressed with the fit and finish of along with the great induction note, extra flow and as s suprising side effect which I wasnt aware of I can now hear the BOV working which sounds good too.

The car is booked in next Monday for the fitment of the Plazmaman 800hp intercooler (only the 2nd one made accordign to Plazmaman) and dyno tuning which I am quietly excited to see the results of, hoping to see the usual 300 - 320 rwkw that these things seem to be limited to due to turbo size but its the torque delivery I am keen to check out.

First up mate, hats off for not gettin it in ego

Secondly by your list of mods and the LSD and suspension upgrade I'd say your actually gonna end up with one of the nicest G6ET's around and IMO exactly how they should of come from the factory. And that's before you even wind the boost up.

Well done and yeah can't wait for some pics.

Cheers guys.

Yeh I love this car. It's turned out exactly how I wanted it to look and soon it'll go the way I wanted it to go as well.

Sorry fo rthe delay in getting pics up, I hav ea fair few but the internet in my office cant handle photobucket fo rsome reason it just locks up and when I get home I keep forgetting to get them sorted.

I'll get some up real soon.
