Ba Xt And Xr6t Tail Shafts

need a little info did a search found nothing

just wondering if anyone knows if the tail shaft in a ba xt will bolt upto a xr6t diff

I know the drive shafts are differant just not to sure on the tail shaft

any help will be great

Xt and Xr6t tailshafts are different and cant be swapped, the rubber drive coupling at both ends of the tailshaft diff and gearbox ends is larger in diameter (pcd) and wont bolt up. The tailshaft has three legs at each end that bolt to the rubber coupling these legs are also larger in diameter (pcd).

does any one know if the pinion yolk will swap over ?

im hopeing so

ill give it a go when the diff turns up and post it up if no one has an awnser before than

Well as posted above the ends of the tailshaft are bigger so I'm sure the diff pinion yoke is bigger.

I know the xr6 ute has one piece tail shaft and the turbo ute and xr8 have 2 piece not sure if it same with sedans?
