fitted some factory 19's last week but looked way too narrow on back of me ute.

Looked great side on.......

And yes have traction probs now with 275's on back, going back to a narrower tyre not the best .

cheers.post-37694-125637196543_thumb.jpg

I know of a 500rwkw ute that broke traction easy with 285's on, changed to R888's and it grips much better, maybe grippier tyres are needed?

The FG ute definatley needs wider rims on the rear, but they need to be offset or you need the rear axle modified to make it look right... has anyone done this or know of any engineering shops who will widen alloys? I like the subtle look of the 'twist' alloys but would like a set of 20's or at least have the 19's widened..

I'am sure the 20's are a hell of allot less than the genuine 19's. And from what I have herd you can get the rims widened which if you factor it into the initial purchase price would still most likely cost less than buying the genuine argents. Main reason for load ratings is that insurance will knock you back if not over 93f. My car is insured properly with all mods and I would like to keep it this way

After market mags are cheap and from my experience you get what you pay for. I bought after market 19inch typhoon mags and dont get me wrong they looked awsome my mates thought they were real. But little bit too shiny, which meant the surface more raw and machined than factory mags. After 2 months old they started showing fine rust even with a weekly clean. I've since sold that ute and have a force 6. I have looked into getting the 20inch dark agents as well. I reackon they will still rust but only the outer rim(silver part). I'm also under the impression that if you put 20inch wheels u may find you will have to pump your guards. more $$ man.

I did a search for these but for some reason I couldn't open the thread I found? Gave me an error. Anyway, I'm just getting some ideas on what rims to throw on my Ego T, and wanted to know if anybody has these in 20 inch and if possible could you post pics? Really keen to see them on a car. Also if you do have them, what is the quality like in comparison to the originals? I heard there was balancing issues with these, is that true? Also, there are different sellers selling these on ebay. Are they all the same wheel, made by the same company?

Cheers guys :)
