Hey Greg, We are not cattle duffers just generations of family trying to make a living and unfortunatly some of us are losing, And some of us purchase your cars, U guys are all warming with coffees and warranties but when it comes to the crunch when the sale is made it's tuff titties from then on. As for your slander of a fellow farmer I am inclined to show my neigbours this and word will spread from there and I think it is time a current affair had a yak with FORD to find out why a fellow farmer was asked if he was a cattle duffer, Then be called a stupid "beep" by someone in the game for 16 years...Waiting your reply and be careful....

Talk about the kettle callling the pot black...

Mate, you need to take a look at the situation at hand. The Dealer Principal was called a "typical car salesman thief" do you reckon he should say "Oh, yeah you're right, I am an as*hole, sorry mate". Gimme a break...

If farmers were constantly copping an ear bashing as "cattle duffers" and this comment simply fuelled the fire, sure, you have a right to be pissed. Let me ask you this though, when it came time to sell your cattle/sheep/grain/feed etc would you say to the buyer "Yeah, you can buy it for $250 a head, but I guess it only owes me $95 so you might as well just give me $95"

Awaiting your reply :verysad:

well I bought my car from a second hand dealer that wasnt dogde so I thought, and aftter 2 weeks of driving (yes there were times where I gave it some squirt) but my clutch died, so I go back to the dealer and say yeah um im gonna need to get my clutch changed on warranty, so he says look mate I can have a look at it but and if it is the clutch which it clearly was he could change it.... 2 days later he reckns its not the clutch its something else and he cant help me. so he offers to pay for the tow back to my house. :verysad: hows that...

1200 later for a new clutch and a new slave cylinder + labour

That's when you take the invoice to the dealer and tell him to pay or the next call he gets will be from the dep. consumer protection.
