Have you watched season 1 or 2 or Top Gear UK. Its nowhere near as funny as it is now. Infact the first season of UK top gear had some fat bloke on it instead of James May.

Point being UK top gear is now at season 13, it took them quite a few seasons to find their groove.

Yeah this is what I was always tell people who don't like the show.

Yes Jumpa...brilliant.

I realise it's only early days for the Aussie Topgear, but my point is they should give up and do something totally different. They will never be as good as the UK guys, so why bother trying?

I can't really see the point of the Aussie Top Gear.

There are really only two cars unique to Australia (and they stuffed that up, trying to please everyone), most of the other cars have already been covered well before they even land in Oz.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, they'd be far better off paying the UK guys to do a few OZ episodes each year to cover the cars here. It'd also be much better for out local industry, because the episodes would be global.
