my concern is do these cauz any problems I heard they can throw the fuel/air ration out?

there are typhoon snorkels on ebay at the moment for $75 + shipping. I just ordered one, and there are 8 left.

Pod in engine bay = BAD, just sucks in hot air.

Unless you can find a cold air intake box which would corner off that entire section where the air filter sits.

It can not throw the AFR out.

There's quite a few different pod CAI kits for the engine bay which are shielded from the engine heat.

SIKXE8, that debate has been done to death.

Some say yes.

Some say no.

At the end of the day it will be your decision to run one, or not, based on the opinion of a tuner that you talk to.

Have a seach in the BOV section and you may be able to make up your own mind.
