1. You think I aint worth a dollar but I feel like a millionaire - Queens of the Stone Age

2. 1,000,000 - Nine Inch Nails

3. Hurt - Johnny Cash (he's a *beep* but as Will Anderson said in his list, best cover of all time imo)

4. New Noise - Refused (look that sh*t up)

5. Colony of Birchmen - Mastodon

6. Killing in the name - Rage Against the Machine

7. Reise Resie - Rammstein

8. My Enemy - Cog

9. See Me Burning - Motorhead

10. Knowledge of Self - BT

The order is f*cked and it's wayyyyy too hard to narrow it down to 10 but those are definitely in the running.

I chose based on what turns up on my mixed CDs/Playlists the most.

Also decided not to put 2 songs from the same band, otherwise it would read like a QotSA discography.

DUDE! You got me all wrong.

Johnny is the manliest badass that ever walked the earth. I was calling Will Anderson a *beep*... f*ckin' black nail polish and sh*t. I actually don't mind him as a comic although he can be super annoying at times.

And yes, refused look like gay little emo kids but they were PRE-PRE emo and were about as anarcho-punk as you can get. So much so that they broke up the band because it started getting too successful and they realised that they were becoming a part of the very machine that they stood against. A bit philosophical and a touch romantic maybe but they believed what they were saying and their music kicks f*ckin' ass.

After they shut it down, they released this "final manifesto" entitled: Refused Are f*cking Dead

http://www.burningheart.com/refused/refmanifest5.htm

Gives you an idea of how full on they were about it...

Edit: And "Good words won't cover ugly actions, good frames won't save bad paintings" is a f*cking killer lyric and words to live by. :useless:

You are voting for:

Metallica - Orion

Metallica - Enter Sandman

Metallica - Fade To Black

Daft Punk - One More Time

Pink Floyd - Shine On You Crazy Diamond

Queens of the Stone Age - No One Knows

Rage Against the Machine - Killing In The Name

Michael Jackson - Beat It

Metallica S&M - Nothing Else Matters (Symphony & Metallica)

Greenskeepers - Lotion

It was damn hard and I'm not happy with my top ten list, but I don't think I ever could be. Tried hard not to fill it with Metallica and QotSA...plenty more songs of theirs I love love loooove.

Metallica S&M is so epic, it's not old school Metallica but it floats my boat/spins my turbine hehehe :)

Oh and I chose Beat It before MJ carked it. Voted back on June 2nd.

IE: Anything from Youth and Young Manhood and Aha Shake?

King of the Rodeo, Joes Head, Red Morning Light, Mollys Chambers and more I'm forgetting... all superior to the current stuff imho.

Sorry Ghosti it was the way I read it...

Reading it back, it's pretty ambiguous. :P
