You think I aint worth a dollar but I feel like a millionaire - Queens of the Stone Age2. 1,000,000 - Nine Inch Nails3. Hurt - Johnny Cash (he's a *beep* but as Will Anderson said in his list, best cover of all time imo)4. New Noise - Refused (look that sh*t up)5. Colony of Birchmen - Mastodon6. Killing in the name - Rage Against the Machine7. Reise Resie - Rammstein8. My Enemy - Cog9. See Me Burning - Motorhead10. Knowledge of Self - BTThe order is f*cked and it's wayyyyy too hard to narrow it down to 10 but those are definitely in the running.I chose based on what turns up on my mixed CDs/Playlists the most. Also decided not to put 2 songs from the same band, otherwise it would read like a QotSA discography. You got me all wrong.Johnny is the manliest badass that ever walked the earth. I was calling Will Anderson a *beep*... f*ckin' black nail polish and sh*t. I actually don't mind him as a comic although he can be super annoying at times. And yes, refused look like gay little emo kids but they were PRE-PRE emo and were about as anarcho-punk as you can get. So much so that they broke up the band because it started getting too successful and they realised that they were becoming a part of the very machine that they stood against. A bit philosophical and a touch romantic maybe but they believed what they were saying and their music kicks f*ckin' ass. After they shut it down, they released this "final manifesto" entitled: Refused Are f*cking Deadhttp://www.burningheart.com/refused/refmanifest5.htmGives you an idea of how full on they were about it...Edit: And "Good words won't cover ugly actions, good frames won't save bad paintings" is a f*cking killer lyric and words to live by.
