just brought a pwr cooler of a forum member but after doing a bit of reaserch of old topics I here nothing but bad about the type ive now got I assume its a twin pass pwrintercooler1.th.jpg

please let me know any info on this cooler and if its worth keeping my aim is 300kw

its not a pwr and I think its a bit of a silly design, IMO there will be massive pressure drop as th eair has to turn around and come back through such a large area

I email the pic thru to pwr they said it was one of there erly designs, so im pritty sure that its a pwr, im pritty sure that's what I read senna that it droped alot of pressure and that's why they changed the design. hmm... anyone used one like this?

I spose if you think about the way the air has to travel, as it goes through the core on the first pass it will compress as it hits the short end tank and head up, then as it finds its way back into the core for the second pass the size of the core will create low pressure again before it heads into the piping.

Since you already have it you may as well see how it goes then save up some dollars for a bigger kit that is a single pass like Rapid or Process West to run some nice numbers. You can always sell it on Ebay to someone looking for a low level upgrade
