nice effort mate. If this is the car that im thinking of its got a built motor, box with std turbo. With those figures it should be good for 10's no worries if you can pedal it goin by some of the the other 4spd boys time.

Are you keen to go for a run down the 1/4 this wkend at tville?

We have worked out from Data logging on the Dyno (as you can see 68 runs) there are some real restrictions, back pressure being the Exhaust (6 psi)and the Intake to Turbo (4 psi) being the main 2. By installing the gear mentioned below we should reduced this back pressure to hopefully 3.5

One of the Nizpro 4" Systems is on ordered. They are modifying the piece than runs under the diff/axial due to all the systems that come into our great country being for sedans and a 4" intake with all the associated stuff for the feed to the Huffa. The Huffa on this Tune is not running at 100%, we want to eliminate the restrictions and then wind her up all the way. Will be interesting to see the results. Anyone have any idea's to what might be achieved ?...

We ran out of time last Friday when on the Dyno so have to get a report showing Boost/ Torque and Rpm. Will post up when in hand.

Enjoy the following vids / photos and look forward to comments.

Hi qik1,

Not this weekend mate but will be seeing you down there sometime soon. let me know when your heading down next. Beau mentioned about your rig and a photo shoot in Townsville, would you please supply some info on this ?...

If I was not bussy this weekend I wanted to head down to Mackay, Pro Utes have a gig/race meet on Sat night and Dave S. is also running again. Dave was going to have a play Sunday, Race-Tune in the Ute but we have changed this till after the V8's in Townsville. This will work better anyway due to the final Mods still to happen.

Cheers

Put the Ute on a Mainline Dyno Today to map everything that the other Dyno didn't like timing Etc Throughout the RMP range. Results were interesting with Boost running to near 22 psi and timing going up to 18.5 and an average of 12. Between the 3 tuners I use we have come to the conclusion that the build box, mainly stally is robbing the dyno figure of approximently 25 rwkw's. This is nice to know but the 2 factors for me are how she runs down the strip and drives on the road. The final result kw wise, bugger all in it. Her are the results

4 Clyinders Hey... Not !
