XF Falcon <put funny sh*t here> Member 3,365 Member For: 18y 1m 9d Gender: Male Location: Perth, NOR Posted 02/07/09 09:48 AM Share Posted 02/07/09 09:48 AM the power for the backlight is seperate to the power going to the oil pressure sender.if it sitting on the same number all the time it seems that the sender has stopped sending a signal to the gauge while it was in operation at some point.find where the oil pressure sender is, should be either on a sandwhich plate on the oil filter, or along the turbo oil supply line where it comes out of the block, and check that the plug is in properly.
