Love the rims and the look but hate seeing the rust on the hubs and around the brakes. Is there anything I can paint to hide the rust? I will one day replace the brakes with a decent set but wedding soon so need to save.Cheers Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/59034-brake-hubs/ Share on other sites

It's best to remove your wheels, clean up the rust with a wire brush etc, prepsol then paint with whatever colour hi temp paint you prefer. That's what I did with my BA before I got new rotors and it worked a treat.Benny Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/59034-brake-hubs/#findComment-898082 Share on other sites

Easy job as mentioned I just mask up the rotor and use a stanley knife to cut along the edge. Takes about 1hr to do if you include waiting for paint to dry and giving it 2 coats Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/59034-brake-hubs/#findComment-898118 Share on other sites
