I think ill try to avoid them as much as I can ...

Why support something that doesn't work?:???

I have read a lot of Horror story's on the forums .. Do you work for ford?

im sure if you did you would be a credit to ford , thanks for the advice , just for the record im not trying to rubbish anyone here .. but how would anything get better if we don't speak up?

I don't work for Ford but have been offered a job with them before.

There are good dealers and bad dealers out there. I've found a good one, albeit 500kms away, but they are better than the last dealer I used so I get everything from them. Parts, advice and my last car. lol.

Speaking up on a forum doesn't really get you anywhere unfortunately.

Multiple calls to 13FORD might get you a little bit closer, but unfortunately due to lack of knowledge around their own product, and after sales service, is what costs them sales and support to the dark side.

If my dealer wasn't as good as they are in support I probably wouldn't be driving a Ford at all.

unless its 100% warranty do not let these chimps anywhere near your car. end. simple

Even then I have paid my tuner to fix warranty issues.

Sounds stupid, balance it out. Get an oil change fron Fraud , oil is the same colour, transmission can you tell?

I will let them fix rattles and squeeks only. Would rather my tuner take care of anything even remotley

mechanical. Wouldn't even let them touch a blown sub under warranty. Aftermarket all the way.

how did you get them to replacethe sub my local fraud team tell me no audio is covered my tweeters are shot apparently that's tough luck im told

I travel 100kms round trip to my dealer even though there is one less than 10kms away. One dealer wanted my car for two weeks to fix an oil leak and diff bushes under warranty, while the other said two days will be fine.

I only ever take it to a Ford dealer for warranty work, they will never see it again once the warranty is up. I'm getting as much done as I can before it runs out... (and that was the advice from my dealer!! not kidding)

anyone else have any probs???

*HANDS UP*

I would be asking - Has anyone NOT had any problems...

I've got over 20 service sheets here, and was on the phone with Ford last week, only to be firstly told they cant believe the work that's been done on the phoon under warranty, but in the next breath come and say - oh but there is nothing we can do except offer you your next service for free...

Well, thanks FRUNTS!

If only I didn't love this thing so much when its actually working and going buts!!!

Ben, I feel for you. I got my Falcon last year and knew something was up when my local service centre tried to charge me $300 for a new set of keys. It also took them 1 whole hour to bring me a can of touch up paint. Were they really that busy ? :crybaby:

This sh1tty level of customer service is why more and more Australians are avoiding Ford - if think that's partly to blame for their 200 million loss the previous year. Btw, my car is due for a service, can anyone recommend a non-dodgy place within 20km of Rockdale ? (doesn't have to be a Ford centre, my warranty expired).

Thanks inflyt, I could do with an engine fix too and a tuning company sounds great. My cousin's BA (stock) engine has more punch than my BF (stock).

Would you know how their general servicing costs compared to a say ... ultratune ?
