Farkin idiotic bloody governments. When will all this end? Keep increasing fines and penalties to the point that they'll seize your house and sell your children, yet people will continue dying on the roads.

Maybe if they keep feeling they need to increase fines and points to make an impact then perhaps it's not f*cking working and the theory is flawed in the first place :crybaby:

Tab this is not about saving lives you know this, it has been worked out by accountants and is in the States budget figuers. I would like to see all speed cameras abolished and replaced with real live policeman in real live police cars. They can put red light cameras at evey intersection for all I car, but I am dreading my next drive through VIC.

As far as overtaking is concerned, with a moderate 255 RWKW, my T I could overtake three semis in a decent stretch of road, drop back to 4th at 80 km/h overtake three semis safely, touch around 180 km/h and be back at under national speed limit withing 4 to 500 m without braking. Some may call me irresponsible, some may call me a dick head, but I have been in cars with half that power that would follow three semis for kilometer after kilometre and have three or four near death experiences to achieve the same aim.

I lost my license 5 years ago for 12 months for doing 128kmh in an 80kmh zone and a $465 fine. Now its only 3 months and a bigger fine. My license is worth more to me than a bigger fine so that's a bit fairer for people who need their license for work. Not that I want to fork out almost 2g for doing something stupid in my car. Makes modding seem rediculous on a daily driver as we all know its way too easy to punch past the speed limits in these cars and we all spend the money to go faster.

Wow, the scumbag NSW government has yet again hoodwinked the morons that re-voted them back in and unfortunately those that didn't. Fairer, what a joke, my black arse is fairer than this crap.

Luckily I have nothing but contempt for the government and the d$%#^heads that enforce this crap, so they can all get stuffed.

And no I've never lost my license or even had more than 4 points and I'm on zero now, so it's not sour grapes. It's just the fact we keep on bending over and taking this unmitigated BS.
