When will all this end? Keep increasing fines and penalties to the point that they'll seize your house and sell your children, yet people will continue dying on the roads. Maybe if they keep feeling they need to increase fines and points to make an impact then perhaps it's not f*cking working and the theory is flawed in the first place

I would like to see all speed cameras abolished and replaced with real live policeman in real live police cars. They can put red light cameras at evey intersection for all I car, but I am dreading my next drive through VIC.Scotty

Some may call me irresponsible, some may call me a dick head, but I have been in cars with half that power that would follow three semis for kilometer after kilometre and have three or four near death experiences to achieve the same aim.Scotty

ebxmple Member 1,322 Member For: 17y 4d Posted 28/06/09 08:23 AM Share Posted 28/06/09 08:23 AM I lost my license 5 years ago for 12 months for doing 128kmh in an 80kmh zone and a $465 fine. Now its only 3 months and a bigger fine. My license is worth more to me than a bigger fine so that's a bit fairer for people who need their license for work. Not that I want to fork out almost 2g for doing something stupid in my car. Makes modding seem rediculous on a daily driver as we all know its way too easy to punch past the speed limits in these cars and we all spend the money to go faster. Fairer, what a joke, my black arse is fairer than this crap. Luckily I have nothing but contempt for the government and the d$%#^heads that enforce this crap, so they can all get stuffed. And no I've never lost my license or even had more than 4 points and I'm on zero now, so it's not sour grapes. It's just the fact we keep on bending over and taking this unmitigated BS.
