Can you give me tip as to which page the easter egg is on? I did find a pair of jugs though. Hey guys I tried to tap into the electrical wiring loom that feeds the rear lights. I think its for the tow bar nominal 12V but I what I didn't check was whether it could handle current draw for a cig lighter socket in boot of car. Apparently not (ba bonggg). Or I'm not doing something right. Here's a pic of just before I tapped into it. I checked with a multimeter and am getting 11.6V in the socket itself but when I plug my rear car cam plug into it - nothing happens. So is there another 12V line accessible in the boot that I can tap onto? Or do I have to run my own line from somewhere near the front tapping onto the ACC supply line that feeds the front dashboard cig lighter? Do you have the polarity correct? Maybe there is a contact issue within the cigar socket? (allows you to run 12v to the caravan etc) 1 Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/58927-rear-tail-light-problem/page/2/#findComment-1638187 Share on other sites

Without the tow loom plugged in it'll just be a matter of doing what Gaz has already done, finding a 12v source from the back somewhere. What about anyone who has needed to power a Sub Woofer amp? I've checked those threads but did find anything immediately. Someone must have done something like this already?
