I'd definately recommend shortened shocks to match the springs mate, the standard shocks really get sloppy after about 12 months with shorter springs

Just ordered springs from king I ended up with super lows on the front which will lower it 25mm which is approx what I was looking for however the best they could do for the rear was ssl which the guy said would only lower it 35mm which is a fair way from what I was looking for (approx 70-80mm) is there any way I can make these rear springs lower (keeping in mind I have already ordered them)

Cheers

I would say they can just re-set the kings you ordered, just like they reset stock springs? not 100% sure though. my ute has been moved back to friday t be lowered so fingers crossed it actually happens... has been moved a couple of time already as the mechanic is really busy. ill post up pics as soon as its done..

I have mad my fg ute lowered, had the rears reset can't recall how low it is, but I am happy with it. As someone mentioned earlier in the post about the cv's I snapped one when I had a bit of weight in the back just taking off from the lights nothing stupid. One dealer said it was my fault as the car was lowered, long story short I rang the dealer I bought it off and they fixed it staight away. I have not had a problem since and that was about 9 months ago. Have heard it happening to a few people though!!!!

Had my ute lowered on the weekend with king super lows in the front:FOR303SL which dropped it about 25mm and super super lows in the rear:KFF40SSL which dropped it about 35-40mm. Car handles sh*teloads better and doesnt scrape on anything so far. Very happy with how it sits as it is now level however I may in the future lower it a little more in the rear... anyways tell me what you think

Cheers :buttrock:
