I've had a read around on the forum and asked jlgw70 a few things which he has helped out heaps. From reading getting a 3" exhaust replacement is pointless and it must be bigger. Also that the stock exhaust is also pretty good.I've seen the Xforce (from turbo back) system is $2500. Just not sure whether to get certain parts myself, then take it to a tuner(ie KPMauto), or to go straight to a performance shop and say 'go for it'. If any of you guys have some suggestions for a new player that would be great. Cheers, Ben.The options ive found is one from KPMauto are:Stage 2 package is as follows: Expect 300 rwkwPackage includes: * 6 X KPM Blueprint 60lbs Injectors * 1x KPM Premium Stainless Steel 3,5 inch Dump Pipe * 1x KPM Stainless Steel 3 inch Full Exhaust * 1x KPM Stainless Steel High Flow Mega Cats * 1 x KPM Carbon Fibre Dynamic Cold Air Intake System * 1 x BMC Performance Air Pod * 6 x Removal and regapping of spark plugs * 1 x SCT Ford Flasher Box * 3 x KPM Edit Customized tunes on Dyno Including Transmission UpgradeUpgrade takes 2 full days.Cost $5,670.00Options: * Intercooler Upgrade $1450 Fitted * FG Piping Turbo Kit $1400 Fitted * Diff gear upgrade including: 3.46:1, 3.73:1, 4.1:1 $2200 * 1 x KPM Cyclone Heavy Duty Valve Spring Set $1100 Fitted Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/58873-mod-hit-list/ Share on other sites

Remember to shop around before you dive in. Have a read through some of the other G6ET guys' threads and find out what they have been doing to get results. Also, when it comes to a Tuner, try and get down to the Workshop and have a chat to the guys that will be doing the work on your car, see if you are happy with the way they do business and whether they are on the same wave length as you and the results you expect. Also, don't be afraid to ask questions, if you don't as you won't know! Good Luck and keep us informed Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/58873-mod-hit-list/#findComment-895622 Share on other sites

You need to figure out what you want out of your car whether its for darg, drift, circuit or just a tough street car. If you don't have any idea it can start costing double as much money because you will be buying parts twice.Shop around though for sponsors have plenty of good deals, and if you are handy in the garage then you save heaps on labour. thefuture Member 46 Member For: 15y 11m 12d Posted 24/06/09 07:13 AM Author Share Posted 24/06/09 07:13 AM I'm keen to mod it to get up to a powerful street car. No intentions to drag/drift/race. (I race motorbikes instead for that kinda rush).I hear you though, not having a clear plan to what I want could be pretty exxy. I want the performance and to get the most out of the engine. (without going too nuts....just yet). Knowing which bits need replacing from stock is I guess what im after and what is holding back the engine the most.Best performance parts for each section of the engine. Cheers guys,...and hell yeah the sponsors do have some good deals. rhys86 said: Senna is right. That will get you a tough streeter in my opinion. If you have some spare cash then maybe look at an exhaust. Process West stuff may not be the cheapest but it has been proven on the track and street.
