I have always been a Expensive Daewoo man, but I liked the look of the FG that much I bought one (F6 ute) and haven't got one bad thing to say about it. It has 9000kms on the clock now and I have had it for around 8 months and no noises or rattles and sh*te loads of power. On a side note I would love to see the XR6 turbo's race against the V8 utes in a few rounds of the V8 supercars support races, might spice things up a bit more in the racing like when the skylines and sierra's used to race.

50k on mine and still very happy.

only real gripe is the loose mudflaps (and the paint damage - rip them off now)

- sure there aother bits and pieces but that's part and parcel -

Well had mine almost twelve months in July believe it or not with 15000ks. Absolutely love the car and can't really imagine another car that would have as much power and torque, creature comforts and cheap insurance. The turbo size is great and love how it boosts hard off the bends chasing Paul (Our06t) haha. Also love how little money it requires to get these cars going hard.

The only thing I would change is release the car with 275 rear tyres.

having witnessed Benny's car in action it is very spritely for 300 odd killer wasps.

Punch out of the corners in the FG

is pretty special

Gave it a good run on the last forum cruise... left the BA-BFs way behind through the hills, the power out of the corners is great, I just kept it in 3rd and 4th up and down the mountains and the gearing was excellent, the brembos pulled it up time after time with just light pedal inputs, but very dusty pads.

Didnt we all get stuck behind a truck that you overtook??

8 months and just over 10K Kays. Absolute dream in almost every department *touches wood*. The only gripe that tends to stick in my mind is the fact that my outside temp gauge is stuffed... again, ie after being replaced at the 'peace of mind' service.

After hearing the 101 horror ford service stories I figured, bugger it...take it in for a tune! A couple of gorilla's later and rolling around on 300+rwkw. I really could not ask for more, for the money.

The fact that it's so docile and benign yet comfy and still a pleasure to drive at cruising, then... with a twitch of your right foot you can lay down darkies like you were at the nats is insane. All the whilst doing mid 13L/100 in peak Sydney commuting traffic. With the ability to throw a big load in the back.....nothing comes close for the money!
