Well, sort of, yes.A hoist makes it a hell of a lot easier though.I did mine on the floor. Got the car high enough to roll under on a creeper. Posted 10/07/09 12:22 PM Share Posted 10/07/09 12:22 PM Just repalced the standard filter with ETM's kit which is soooo much better. There were no signs of the filter/screen being blocked as I serviced my car every 5000kms but after seeing the size of that thing, I wouldnt have ever put it back in!!!Another TOP write up ENVY-T. Smoke them tyres Member 557 Member For: 17y 4m 14d Gender: Male Location: Brisbane Posted 27/12/09 12:51 PM Share Posted 27/12/09 12:51 PM Low oil flow from a partially blocked filter is probably why the feed lines "coke" up. All results in low oil flow to the turbo and the there goes the turbo........ phildee Inactive Members 1 Member For: 16y 8m 13d Posted 01/01/10 10:32 PM Share Posted 01/01/10 10:32 PM There seems to be an updated part, not sure if the later model's have it standard? But I replaced the filter on my BA turbo which had the same filter as pictured and the replacement would have to have maybe 4 or 5 times the surface area as the filter part comes almost to the end of the boltCHeers, Phil Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/58783-small-enough/page/3/#findComment-967425 Share on other sites
