Rear Diff Bush Split

The factory one will only split again man, put something in that will last

ah really.. is it ok to drive around with this problem.. to be honest I dont know much about this as stupid as it may seem.

I only just managed to save some side $$ to finally get my tune, but want to get warranty work done before my tune.

hey all...

ok I dunno if this is sumthing dodgy by some place (won't mention names) but umm took it in to get rid of some camber that my car sits on cause its killing my tyres like u can't believe... anyways chucked it in there and they had a look under neath for me and stuff and here is everything they listed wrong...

1. Urethane control Arm Bush $198

2. Control Arm Pivot Joint X4 $256

3. installation $520

4. Dift Bush X3 $202

5. Wheel alignment 4 wheels. $110

Total $1,286

Now I dunno much about this stuff but does this sound about right? like am I getting ripped off or sucked into sumthing? I mean they spoke about when I'm in 2nd and back off it makes a clunk noise (which it does), but I mean all I wanted was for the camber to be adjusted and here I sit with all this stuff in front of me?

I agree.

Took mine in to have dealer look at any suspension component failures today as there has been some rattles from the rear end (you know..the usual probs). Anyway, they found rear diff bush split (surprise!) and rose bushes worn (not to mention the leaking diff seal - cv joint but that's not related to the noises - I think...). All work to be under warranty - praise be to jebus! :bowdown:

Ideally, I would like to get them to replace the bushes with ones that I will purchase independently (super pro). Will the dealer be cool with this arrangement?

I had my rear bush done at 45000k under warranty with no mods. I had sway bars fitted 2 days ago at pedders and they told me the lower front ball joints were worn out. Apparently its common. I have booked it into the dealer (No names) We will see if they fix it once they see the nice red sway bars front and back.

What I don't understand is why some things are ok but others arent.

For example, if I put larger injectors in but blow a door seal, how can the injectors void THAT warranty??
