Hey guys

We have decided to buy a puppy now as we have just moved into a new house which is good for a puppy. We are looking at smaller dogs. My question is, does maltese dogs usually have an overbite with the bottom teeth sticking out of mouth? Do quite a lot get it or only a small amount?

Any help regarding them would be grealy appreciated cheers

Az

Not being silly,

but why are you interested in a dogs overbite? My girlfriend has had about 3 or 4 of them and they haven't really have overbites, mind you they have been maltese X (Another dog) so I don't know if that changes it?

I'll ask here when she gets home as well.

cheers,

dan

Mate my missus (the dog whisperer) thinks that if its a pure bred it could have genentic issues that will lead to dental issues later on.

Cant really tell you much more but she said its common with x breeds.

The olds have Cairn Terriers, fantastic little dogs, with a attitude from hell!

We have a Maltese x sh*tzu, gorgeous little thing, yes he used to yap, but we trained him, and now he is great.

Agree with ya Feebs, (some) little dogs FTL

I deal with peoples pets all day and its the little white fluffies which always cause problems!

Considered a beagle? Hard work sometimes but great little dogs
