Rosie....there may possibly be a lighter rim out there somewhere but if there is I would expect the price to resemble a telephone number. The Volks were bad enough.

Des, sweet as mate. Good luck with the build, hope it all goes to plan.

The Teins are going to be a week or so before they arrive so it'll still be 2 weeks at the very least till the Bilsteins come out.

I am taking a bit of a gamble with this. Most people seem to be of the opinion that the performance Tein is going to be way too hard for our high quality Kiwi roads. Hopefully they are just trying to avoid a customer coming back complaining of a harsh ride. :innocent: I guess time will tell.

Great stuff mate, everything is as I expected.

I have the performance teins (670/436) spring rates. They are not too harsh imho......particularly if you are an enthusiast......I drive them on Sydneys sh*te roads every day. See what you think about the balance you get with these and the stock sways before choosing sways. IMHO 30mm front is too big.

Thanks mate!

Is there a lighter 'Race Rim' than this?

These are deadset top shelf. Volk RE30 or TE37 are also comparable

There is a big gulf between these forged wheels and even good Japanese cast wheels (like Work).........dont even mention the junk you will find at a local tyre place.

Erko..... totally. The state of those bushes is something to be believed. I'll bang some pics up later in the week.

Performance Teins are what I have ordered. The suspension people over here were hesitant to even accept the order as they all say they are way too hard. "Twice as hard as what you have" was how one described it.....frankly that will suit me just fine

I've been meaning to flick you a PM re brakes. A described above I found an old set of factory performance rotors and calipers but in the long term I have my doubts as to how good they are going to be.

I've been offered a new set of AP 4 pots for a reasonable price.......a better option than trying to pick up some factory brembos??

It would be interesting to compare our cars Wolf. I have standard shocks but King Springs, lowered, as well as Whiteline Swaybars. I also have GTP 19s with Goodyear F1s, so.... a different approach to yours. Bushes are standard at this stage (where do you get yours?)

I am in Upper Hutt too... at the foot of the Rimutakas, so... a drive can be arranged sometime! (though am away this weekend).

PS - I have some AP 6 pots to install on my car soon - imported second hand from Aus, there are some good deals to be found if you look around.
