CHLAXN Donating Members 932 Member For: 16y 8m 17d Gender: Male Location: north QLD Posted 22/07/09 01:23 PM Author Share Posted 22/07/09 01:23 PM no I was lucky that nothing was damaged at all.. like he said it was probably the head gasket that went.. so he used my block and rebuilt that.. he has pictures from when he built it just have to get them off him.. all the wall thicknesses were fine and no cracks and no damage to the head.. just did the oil pump gears and the mod he does to the housingyou not wrong just for them 3 things that over $1000 bucks there lol.. yeah no worries mate I can do for ya no probs.. that's it do it once, that's why I got the girdle put on for later down the track, but if I up grade the turbo later on I will be happy with 450-500 lol.. hahaha no doubt the bug will bite later on again Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

CHLAXN Donating Members 932 Member For: 16y 8m 17d Gender: Male Location: north QLD Posted 24/07/09 08:08 AM Author Share Posted 24/07/09 08:08 AM (edited) well picked up injectors yesterday after getting them flow tested and cleaned.. they are with in 1% of each other so happy with that.. got engine mounts today bolted them on and finally got the motor back in the car and all bolted back up to the gear box so just have to bolt everything else back on. also got the exhaust and new cat bolted on. motor went back in and bolted back up in 30 mins pretty happy with that..
