Should beable to get abit more aggressive with it for ya. Ramp that boost as early & as hard as ya can. Fix that clutch already. lol

I'm interested too see what mine ends up at if we do keep the std turbo. It always made good power so theres no reason why it shouldnt be able to make something similar with the new one.

How long before its a full goer for ya?

yeah mate im just worried about the valve springs as I only got the standard heavy duty ones before the motor died and they are rated to 25 psi.. should handle 20psi I hope or will have to upgrade to the next ones that were rated to 35psi.. never thought I would go all out on it like I have haha

yeah they make decent power will be good to see how much power it will handle standard.. im hoping to have a race tune 400+ and a street tune around 380..

well should be a goer in a few weeks just get some k's up and some more money together for the tune.. just got to sort out who I am going to take it to tune it.. that's the hard one..

I went with the big springs just to make sure. Never know when things the wife dont know about end up under the hood. lol. I'm gonna be in so much trouble when she see under the bonnet for the first time. I figured its easier to ask for forgiveness than permission on this one. Ive told her about absolutly everything but I couldnt bring myself to do it with the turbo just yet.I might have to tell her it sits different with the new eng & ive just unwrapped it.

Theres no reason why it wont make a solid 400 for ya maybe even without race fuel. I just got a few litres layin around so I'll have one.

Your lucky down there, theres a few around so im sure you wont have any problems getting a good one. Have ya spoken to anyone yet?

HAHAHA have to answer to the boss lol.. yeah I should of gotten the bigger ones but like I said they would of been good for the 17-18 psi I would of been running on the standard motor.. see how I go with it anyway..

yeah that's the way just say it sits different that's a good one lol..

yeah there are a few around down here just the prices from one to another is unbeliveable... not sure if I will take it back to the last tuner as they really wanted nothing to do with rebuilding the motor.. im still waiting for a quote pretty sh*t customer support I think.. no have not spoken to anyone just yet.. will start to make a few phone calls this week sometime

I could just say, how did that get there the boys must have put it in here by mistake, I just picked the car up & drove it I couldnt even tell. Or ive been such a good customer it was a present for letting them use the car for there shows. lol. I dont think she's that silly somehow.

As for the the tuning shops its hard when ya feel fobbed off it makes it hard to take it back to them. Pricing doesnt help either but in the end it'll make or break the car. A good tune with the good gear like ya have could turn it into an animal but someone could still stuff it on ya or you could still leave disappointed with the result.

Somewhere like autotech, cv performance or tunehouse who have turned out some brilliant cars would be a good place to start, I dont think you could go wrong with any of them. In the end I spose its got to come down to convienece to get the car there & back especially if you hit a snag like you so often can happen. That & there initial response to your enquires can leave a big impression. My decision was easy the blokes I go to are really the only half serious ones around where I am & there still 2hrs away.

The joys of toys we love to hate them & mine definalty keeps me awake at night either from excitement or from it bein a headache. Guess its abit of both at the moment hence 4am in the morning lol!!! I love this place keeps my sane when sleeps abit elusive.

haha yeah I contimplated doin the inhouse build up but between the cost & the time thing this became an easy decision that & Brad is very good at what he does.

Cant wait to give this atomic thing a bloody good hiding. I finally wont feel guilty after a 200 + kph pass down the strip or the little skids I do before I go down.

well the car had done 8 kms and has a pretty big oil leak... looks like the main seal at the back of the crank.. taking it to atomic tomorrow morning so he can have look and see exactly what is wrong and get it fixed... not what you want after spending so much money on a new motor.. :censored::crybaby::nono:
