hey guys well the worse happened on the weekend my motor died :beerchug: ohh well sh*t happens just wish it did not happen right now..

I will be geting an atomic 600kw short (but aparently 698kw now according to Brad) / or they will be re building mine if the block is not to damaged..

just wondering what other things will be worth while changing while the motor will be out?? any ideas

I will be getting new billet oil pump gears and the lil modification they do to the housing too..

what kind of power levels is it worth getting a girdle??

I no I will be limited to the stock turbo but I might up grade later on so is it a worth while as like I to do things once..

any ideas welcome cheers

who knows.. all I did was leave my mates house changed 1st to 2nd then just as I changed to third it went bang.. with a back fire still was ok for about 500m then just started dieing so turned it off.. probably done piston rings or bent a rod.. it was not over boosting or anything at the time..

it has no compression as you can turn the crank over by hand with a breaker bar.. when I get the motor out it will be going to atomic..

oil pump gears 100% if there not in the atomic kit. And I would fully reco the head even if there is no visiable sign of damage.

100% on the oil pump mate. Girdle is a good safety thing, they stop the main caps walking around and will allow you to push the rev limit a bit higher when you go for a bigger turbo. Depending on how much boost you are running you can look at the 12mm head studs too. I'd also throw an Atomic Harmonic Balancer on it too, the stock ones aren't the best thing in the world.

Good Luck! :stupid:

did you end up having to replace anything else with your build as I think you had similar k's??
