Removing The Headlight

hey all,

can someone give me a doco on how to remove the front headlight on a BA XR6T? does the front bumper have to be removed?

I took one out on the weekend it was a real pain in the arse. Cause of my bigger intercooler, I had to get an old Yamaha 10 mm open ender and bend it at right angles. I did take the bar of cause there`s a bolt hides under the corner.

I`m not looking forward to doing it again.. Airbox out, battery out, front bar off.. ugh.

Could an easier way but it didn`t become apparent to me.

remove the grill

undo the two bolts that holt the bar

unclip from side and wheel arch, drop the bar down

unclip lights and blinkers

remove the 4 bolts per light and ka pow the light is out...

or use a oxy and cut it..

works for me either way

you forgot the 10 or so screws underneath the bar that hold up the stoneguard.
