yeah I understand what you are saying but gotta remember not all ford techs like fords... not many ford techs love fords.... even less drive ba's and are enthusiasts in that model car etc... of the 15 or so techs at my dealership 5 drive fords... the rest all hate fords and its just a job to them.... I work for ford cos I f*ckin love em.

springs like these arent for the faint hearted.....

021.jpg

but theres no way king or any other brand would make them at the height both the op and myself want....

also it does handles like sh*t. not as bumpy as you think just cant turn full lock unless its dead flat road... they also get a vibration transferred through the ass end at that height.

if you want to look like everyone else get SSL.... if you want the car to look sick and stand out... get them compresssed..... ive had mine like that for 6months + and its now turbo with dose pipe etc and still am yet to get pulled over......

That looks sh*t... I assume by 'Tech' you mean apprentice...

I have sooooo many issues with this thread... :banghead:

By compressing the lowest springs made by a manufacturer, you are basically ignoring all logic behind suspension and handling.

I have to explain this to customers all the time. When you putt around town at low speeds, or you drive on smooth freeways you won't think there is anything wrong. When you go on a cruise with a car that actually handles or you try and drive a little quick on rough roads and in wet conditions you will understand that slamming your car is not smart.

Lowering your car can help with handling, yes, however sitting the car on the bump stops is not helping anything...

How many of you guys have driven a car with compressed springs? Sooo much nannying in this thread. They feel No different to drive with than any other springs in the car. I know heaps of people with them and they've managed to make it through a rainy day/ pothole without spearing off the road into the ozone layer creating a bigger hole that will kill innocent little penguins quicker due to global warming melting the ice and heating the ocean causing the fish to swim on different patterns bla bla bla

mate if you want lowered springs pm me, I have sssl cut, you can have them for free. you have to pull the bump stomps right out, used them 2 years ago for about a week, I have 20s and the rear gaurd was past the tyre and about 1cm past the rim. if you do want them you can't sue me if something goes wrong. and you can have them for free.
