Unfortunately the spare isnt going back under, but lucky ive got a big boot it can fit in. Will work out how to mount it soon.

This exhaust isnt for everyone. It does have a drone from about 1500 - 1800rpm, but its to be expected. It will never worry me, same as I love the sound twin 044's make. On idle she purrs quietly still and at WOT it sounds porn.

Hey, have you any idea on the running gear in the FG F6 motor? I have been chasing up some details on the 'argo rods & forged pistons' scenario everyone keeps sayin they run and all I can get from ford is that the FG F6 uses a 'different' rod to the FG XR6T, and the BF2 F6. Apparently ford said that thr FG XR6T ws at it's limit on the rods used in the BF@'s and changed them for the F6. Do you have any info that coould help me?

cheers. I know for 100% that they have a different part number, and that they run a different bush, but that's it. I even sent an e-mail to argo to see if they could yell me if they did them for fpv. No reply yet. Fingers crossed. I'd live to be runnin in the mid to low 400's with no reliability issues.

Im intending on getting up to the high 400's on the stock bottom end. New cams and head work will be completed soon. Turn the stock turbs into a hybrid with bigger wheel and possibly a Process West Stage 3 BF core. Keep it at around 20psi and it should be fine (here's hoping anyway).

Might throw some Atomic head studs at it to be a bit safer.

Matty, that was an interesting avatar you had up last night?
