Has anyone used these for around the 300rwkw mark?

I know I don't NEED them. But would like the lumpyness and all that wank factor.

My mods will be

Process west stage 2 with upgraded cross over and under battery cold air intake.

60lb injectors

atomic valve springs

X-force 3.5inch exhaust system with split dump.

intank fuel pump

Is this more likely to overboost with cams? because I really don't want to do the turbo mods. It's just a weekend car for some fun. nothing serious.

thanks

I have them. They don't make the car as lumpy as the video that is on you tube. The specs aren't that far off the standard bf cams. Basically they gave me a bit more mid range power. They are harder for tuners to tune but its alot of money just for the wank factor.

If I was going for wank factor I would get bigger than the ones I have. Your fuel consumption goes out the window and obviously the bigger you go the more undrivable it gets on the street. I can get a sound clip if you like so you can hear what they sound like.

I had them in my na6, wouldn't bother for a turbo unless your going for big hp. they made it sound nice and lumpy but used heaps of fuel! it was tuned and still used around 18l per 100. lol.

18L per 100ks that's just crazy for a na 6 with cams.....my BF MKII XR6T only uses 10.8L City & 8.0L HWY... it's pumping out 304rwkw's of power using Standard XR6T Intercooler,Valve springs & Cams.

that's why NA sucks!

I probably should add it was a 5sp with 3.7 diff gears etc. made 170rwkw and ran 14.0. I drove it alot harder than I drive my xr6t because it was nowhere near as fast!

Stop driving like a girly man. My standard T got 24L per 100km in the first week I owned it
