Now were starting to worry about ADR standards is new. We probably should be, as everyones aftermmarket fmic, BOV, exhaust mods, pod filters and Capa tunes without engineering certificates are all in breach of ADR's.

True they are but the most vital part or system on any car is the brakes, why would you run the risk of having an accident and loosing all insurance let alone any other charges that may arrise from the issue.

I also believe Wilwoods dont comply with ADRs and cannot be engineered.

Brakes are one area I wouldnt fark with from an insurance stand point, its an easy out for the insurer in any front ender.

Beg to differ in that your tyres are the most vital component on any car. Brakes dont work without them. But I get your drift in that it is good to see ppl willing to upgrade braking and suspension systems instead of the just doing the go fast bits.

And I think your more in line to wear charges as the result of non-compliant braking components in the event the most unfortuante should happen.

Insurance as well would be completely voided.

Its the reason why I'm wanting to upgrade my brakes/suspension before I go for any power :) Just trying to get a good braking setup for a good price. I was going to just upgrade my pads and rotors but then if/when I decide to go 4 pot brembos up front I'm having to fork out another 1500-2000 to change my fronts out.

If you can afford the extra for the brembos, get them.

I have the dynalite or superlite (can't remember which) 4 pots front and rear on my sports sedan. Yes they work great, can I get a nice solid pedal? NOPE!!!! no amount of bleeding the brakes helps, the problem comes down to flex. seems the wilwoods aren't overly solid and while they do work well for a while eventually they lose strength and start bending.
