The NGK are gapped at 1.1 which when you regap them the electroid is not square so it will be good at first then as it wears it will be too wide!Go to your Ford Dealer get your self a set of motorcraft platnium plugs for the BF Typhoon they are gapped at .90 so the slight change to .75mm they are still quit square & will last for 100,000km(but change them at 40,000).Not much more to pay for quality. For a standard T with only a flash turner you should have no problem with standard ones but it would be better to atleast but some typhoon plugs as they can only be better. As for the power loss, there is now a smaller spark with the smaller gap which might loose a bit of power (stuff all) but will have less chance of blowing out. .8 is good also, its not to big or small but .85 wouldnt hurt with your mods either.
