Any info on the drive shafts??

I don't know much about them, but I bought them from C&V,

the boots rub on the shock, and the hand brake bracket, and wear through the rubber boots, so I moded both a bit, and glued the boots back together, they seem strong, although I have never broken a standed one either, seem a little to much movement in the outers for my liking, so I will not hit the transbrake, and in a manual that movement might help brake them. could be just a dud set, but they have not broken anyway.

eights, yeh if that happens down the track some day, I would expect two wheels in the air.

BAs are King

Sensational effort!

When are we going to see a BTR in the nines? :spoton:

if someone thinks they can build one to hold together, I will test it for them, I don't like not having a overdrive.

what do you think you need to do to get to 8's from here dave. What do ya recon you need to change & how much power will be enough to do it with your setup?

I think unless a aftermarket set of plantery's are made, we've got no hope..

Seems once you made the auto shift, to stop earily failure of frictions, the plantery gears say no more.. Be it, E series, A series, or B series plantery replacements.

Im willing to push my box hard, knowing that plantery gears are going to be the failure point (we havent seen intermediate shaft failures like some have reported).. I have broken the planterys 3 times now. Running with ET streets on the street doesnt help :D

This is the quickest car ive owned, so its all new to me, but I expect I will have to get it to under 1500kg, and have 250 more hp, and run a low 1.3 60ft

I think the stock rear will cope from what I have seen so far, the tail shaft will have to be changed I think, but I will leave it in untill it breaks.

I will play away, but each second you go quicker, it gets a lot harder. if the stock motor gets a 9.5 sec I think the built one should do the rest for me.imo
