A little off the subject here but I was in Adelaide last week at one of our suppliers and they were machining a manifold and piping for Ford FPV all I could get out of them was that they were for a supercharged V8.

According to today's Herald Sun, new V8 is 330KW and 545NM, and a supercharged version is also considered. In regards to a GTHO I'd think if Ford where to consider such a venture, it would need to be priced below $100K. The W427 looks a bit silly priced next to the Nissan GT-R to be honest. Then again so does the M3...

No GTHO, a ute version of new GT? Wasn't it already stated there'll be a ute as one of the new cars?

The more I read, the more I think GTHO badge won't reappear. Am becoming damn sure a blown 8 will though :)

I don't understand one thing about this. The new V8's are over 100kg lighter and you'd hope then the new cars will maintain that weight loss, but what about the 6's? They will now be much heavier than the V8's. So how will they make them lighter or will they? And if they can make the cars lighter, they can also make the V8 cars lighter too. Who'd buy the F6 if it were now much heavier than the V8?
