J.J. Abrams and J.H. Wyman are back together for more TV goodness.

Looked a bit junky at the start, seemed to get better towards the end maybe a bit iRobotish....if it's got the twists and turns of Fringe then I'm in hook line and sinker..

Fast n loud

Bit of a rant here....

Been watching this out of complete boredom over the last couple of days...

Richard Rawlings is a loud mouth snake oil salesman, he was and advertising executive so in other words full of :pooh: he does nothing other than swindle people out of money/cars spends as little as possible on dodgy work and then swindles more money out of unsuspecting buyers.

(He tried spamming a heap of hotrod forums years ago with an advertising campaign and got himself kicked out of SEMA). Reminds me of a car park tuner that used to hang round here....

Aaron from what I can see does what he can with what he's got, he's not much better than Rawlings but atleast he gets his hands dirty and knows about cars, unlike Rawlings who wouldnt know :pooh: unless he had just read about it.

The work in places is good, some of the rat stuff of just a tidy and new engine & brakes is good, but for the majority of the work with the scripted bullshit deadlines they have to meet EVERY single friggin episode is crap, I would love to know how much bondo is in some of the rust buckets they respray 'in less than 24 hours' and who buys a car thats been sitting for 10+ years and thinks the motor is going to fire and run for a decent amount of time for the poor sucker who buys it. Then they lift a rocker cover see a bit of sludge suddenly know whats wrong with it and the scripted panic sets in.

Then they trawl these pieces of crap out to auction houses where there are half decent restored/unmolested vehicles then wonder why nobody wants a to pay what THEY think the cars worth.

Having said that I'm 10 episodes in and I'll watch it up to the latest....

Saw the final from last season and the first of this season...dickheads bought the F40 that was wrecked by a dealership a few years ago and expect to be able to rat fix it for nixs and turn a buck.... :crazypilot:
