I know the ZF Autos both run the 2.73 ratio. The reason I am asking is ive been offered a brand new BF 2.73 LSD assembly to put into my G6ET, but I dont want to pull it all out only to find that the BF diff is not going to fit up etc Edited 09/06/09 10:51 AM by Smackers XR6T

If you are going to install an LSD in a G6ET then just check if the traction control still works as intended. I was led to believe that the TC programs between LSD and no LSD were different.Benny

He did also say that it is possible to change the "personality" of the G6ET's TC/DSC to match the XR6T's and that will be looked into once the diff is in.This is being done in 4 weeks time as my Auto is suffering very bad 1st to 2nd shift shock/lag/slip and when the ZF tech was flown to adelaide last week to check my car he saw that the PCM personality didnt match up to the ZF's TCU personality and hence the issues im having, he even showed me on the dyno by ramping it up in 4th only to find it hit the limiter at 204kmh not the 230 that the turbos are supposed to be limited to. I really think I bought a late friday afternoon lemon with all the issues ive had but they are slowly getting sorted which is the main thing

Now as im not home (im away for 2 week due to work) I cant have a look and compare it to my FG, so im just wondering if anyone out there knows for sure if the BF diff "yoke" is indeed different to the FG diff yoke and if so is it a simple case of unbolting the diff yokes and swapping them over (so my FG yoke onto the BF LSD assembly)

IG6ET are limited to 200km/h, XRT are 230 and FPV 250.Nice avatar btw ;-)

TC/DSC still works fine, car drives as good as before with it switched on and when its switched off it will pull nice drift style moves if I want it to, so much so that im up for new rear tyres after just 7400kms from new.All up cost me just under $600 (complete diff assembly and freight)
