As some of you may know my last few F6 and XR6T have all been autos.I was looking for some thing different so decided on a Manual. But during the test drive on Saturday the loud bang as you shift from 1st to 2ed is some what hard to forget.Has anyone been able to isolate where this noise is coming from. It must be some where between the gearbox and wheels ? FORD is obviously unable to rectify it, so has anyone had any success in the aftermarket Diff / Drive shaft companies modifying the components.Does this noise get louder as the cars mechanicals begin to wear ?It may be another auto in the garage next week.......... Quite often, sounded like you had left the diff behind....Now have a BFII xr6t with 60k on the clock (+330rwkw) and it doesnt make any noise at all!
