in am interview with jamie they were only expecting them to run a mid 11 - so I bet they were surprised aswell!!!

They're very good times.

I'm sure the engineers would have tweaked the ecu to get the most out of them.. Extended rev limit first on the list..

was there and saw the 3 runs!!!

the first pass was a bit disappointing, but the 2nd and 3rd runs were better!!!

it was bloody good to see what a v8 supercar could do down the 1/4 instead of guessing.

got told last year by james courtney that the v8's are limited to 650hp at the flywheel.

mind you this was last year and rules could have changed!!!!

Trawling around youtube I came across a few vids of the Group A? I think, cars running the quarter at Adelaide grand prix. I think John Harvey did the best with a low 11.. Its worth searching for..

I was figuring on 11`s too. Prolly in full race spec, full tanks and longer gears, that`d be the case..

Was still great that it happened.. lol, I remember Teo Fabi doing the standing 400 in a turbo F1 car at Adelaide one year too, I recall it was in the 8`s.
