My mates uncle has a 307VE Clubby.

At the last dyno day we did in Moorabbin, this car only made 224rwkw. Personally I think that's a fkn joke

never raced one when I was stock but id imagine a 6.0litre would have the goods over me. Since my cars been modified ive raced quite a few 6.0litres and havent been beaten by any. They do get the jump on me off the line as 300+rwkw + street tyres = lots of wheelspin, but once I get into 2nd I catch them and leave them for dead.

dyno figures mean jacksh*t .. all cars are different, conditions are different etc

just like some xr6t's that have made 160rwkw.

You would smash a stock VE GTS/R8 with that power.. there heavy buckets the VE's. and his being a manual aswell you will own him through every gear change.

Fck I smashed a 450rwkw ss(so he said) when I only had 350, did give me a good run ingear but.

I know GM uses sh1t transmissions, but this really is a joke.

FWD driveline losses = <10%

RWD driveline losses = 12-17%

AWD driveline losses = 15-25%

Clubby = 100*(307-224)/307 = 27% :stupid:

wank wank...... spend very little money on your stock t it will smoke a stock ss no worries...... all depends on what floats your boat, or in this case squeals your wheels.....but showroom stock I would say the same depending on driver....

was at the drags afew nights ago my mate ran a 13.9 (which he rekons was tops!) in his stock ve ss sedan manual which was pretty consistant over 4 runs and I ran a 14.3 in my stock manual BA T 6 speed manual and I probably could of shave abit off that time, so if u consider a auto you would probably cut that down to high 13s.and with 260rwkw pfttt your mate would have no chance.

for reference I ran a 13.7 in my 2 week old manual ss, I have seen a 512 rwkw t run a 12.3 and also 300rwkw ss's run 12.0s all be it a a slower trap speed (about 10mph) so who cares... whos pays wins in the drag race game be it on tyres, tune or diff gears .... also remember said t driver saying hope I dont line up against that 12.0 sec nissan nx coupe........
